Graphic Arts at Murdoch Mackay is an industrial arts course
and is a broad based introduction to the varied world of visual communication.
Areas of study include design and layout, image creation, aquisition and editing, desktop publishing, screen printing, sign making, large format printing,
photography, lithography and bindery. It also includes
multimedia areas such as video production and animation.
The computer labs are made up of Apple computers. Software in
use inclues Adobe Creative (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Flash, Premiere Pro
) as well as iLife applications and Microsoft Office.
There is no pre-requisite for taking any grade level of
Industrial Arts courses This means that students may enrol at any point during
